 ABOUT THE PROJECT

 Vocabulary is key to success in using language skills (speaking, listening, writing, reading) in all languages. Unfortunately, many students do not like memorizing words mostly because they do not know the appropriate methods and techniques to learn the target vocabulary. The use of snapwords is an effective technique to improve students’ motivation in learning English. It triggers students’ visual intelligence, imagination, creativity and interest in learning vocabulary. A World of Snapwords primarily aims to help students get more motivated to learn English vocabulary in line with our national curriculum, especially to support students in online education process during this pandemic time. The students will prepare snapwords of the words that they are supposed to memorize in their class units. In this project, students will not only create snapwords but also prepare online games with different web tools to ensure their learning. They will have the opportunity to improve their English competence in a fun way. The target age group is 9-14 in our project.
